It has been more than a few days since my last update. After the barrage of calls, emails, letters and various other means of support, I wanted to give the The Chicago Park District a chance to respond.
As you know from my last update, I had, what I deemed, a very successful meeting with Mr. Cordell Hopkins.

Spring is Definitely in the Air!
April is here and Spring is definitely in the air! If I seem like I’m smiling a lot in this picture, it’s because I am truly blessed and highly favored! GOD has given me TAP and through tap, I have traveled the world, created a legacy in Chicago and become a positive force in my community for my community! Most importantly, though, I have found PURPOSE. I am doing what I was put on this earth to do and if anyone gets in the way of that, they have me plus the universe to deal with! I, sincerely, hope that every one of the teens I mentor and the young people I train get this truth from knowing me. Making your living doing something you love is the best way to live your life!

Peace! I missed HOME!
Peace y’all! I just spent the whole month of March doing a tour called Tap The Map… A tap workshop that tours the country! I traveled with two other tap dancers, Anthony Russo & Donovan Helma. I traveled to some WONDERFUL places… Missouri, Texas, Oregon, California, Nevada & Colorado. The trip was a beautiful experience but I’m SO thankful to be back home! Now I’m in the studio putting the Junior Core to WORK! 
I’m about to be out though! SCISSORS!
